A browser-based tool to convert Google Keep exports to a format compatible with Apple Notes

Step 1: Export Your Google Keep Notes

  1. Go to Google Takeout
  2. Make sure only "Keep" is selected (or deselect everything else)
  3. Click "Next step" and choose your delivery method (download link via email is recommended)
  4. Choose file type (ZIP is recommended) and size
  5. Click "Create export" and wait for Google to prepare your data
  6. Download the ZIP file when ready
Note: Google Takeout exports can take some time to prepare, from minutes to hours depending on how much data you have.

Step 2: Convert Your Notes

  1. Drag and drop the Google Takeout ZIP file onto this page, or click to browse
  2. Wait for the tool to process the ZIP file and find your Keep notes
  3. Select which notes you want to convert (all are selected by default)
  4. Click "Convert to ENEX Format" to generate an Evernote-compatible file
  5. Save the generated ENEX file to your device

Step 3: Import to Apple Notes

  1. On Mac:
    • Open Apple Notes on your Mac
    • Go to File → Import to Notes
    • Select your converted ENEX file
    • Your notes will be imported directly into Apple Notes
  2. On iPhone/iPad:
    • Email the ENEX file to yourself or upload it to iCloud Drive or another cloud storage
    • On your iPhone, open the email or Files app
    • Tap on the ENEX file
    • Select "Share" or tap the share icon
    • Choose "Notes" from the share options
    • Your notes will be imported into the Apple Notes app
Note: The generated ENEX file can be imported directly into both Apple Notes and Evernote.
Important: This tool processes everything locally in your browser. Your notes are never uploaded to any server. However, there are some limitations:
  • Some formatting and attachments might not transfer perfectly
  • The tool cannot process image references to separate files
  • Very large notebooks may cause your browser to slow down

This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your notes and files are processed locally and are not uploaded to any server. We have no access to your data whatsoever.
